This Halloween, I was really excited for trick-or-treating. I unfortunately am too old to go myself, but that’s not why I was excited. For the first time in years, I live in a house on a street with lots of families, and I anticipated all of them ringing my bell and shouting, “Trick or Treat!” I bought a bunch of candy (and I bought the good kind), but come Halloween night, there wasn’t a single trick-or-treater. I know… sad face.
